For true spice come here. You know you are eating authentic when the asian to white person ratio is 9 to 1 in midtown Bangor! I ordered spicey shredded potato and spicey fish fillet. The fish comes on top of a bed of cooked cabbage. All delicious. Wish i could have tried more dishes.
Came here for lunch takeout in the middle of a busy workday. Only true Chinese walk-in spot in the area, with a full menu of both familiar favorites and specialties. Lunch special was very reasonably priced. Looks like a low-key and clean place to dine-in as well. Restaurant was fairly full when we walked in, and our food was cooked and packed up very quickly. Will definitely grab lunch here again!
I came upon this restaurant after walking for an hour, very hungry and having had quite a terrible morning. They seated me quickly and gave me a tall glass of water and the menu. The lunch specials are all 10.95 (super affordable!) and give you enough food to feed yourself (I know the photo looks sparse, but I took it partway through eating!) The music they put on is lovely, and a volume gentle to the ears but enough that other parton’s chatter is background noise, and the food is quite literally the best I’ve had this year! It took my morning and turned it right around. I’m writing this review in the middle of my meal, but I know I will leave relaxed and ready to go on with my day. Thank you No 1 Kitchen! Made my day.
